Just prior to the
Easter weekend, Governor JB Pritzker announced to the delight of
children everywhere that yes indeed the Easter Bunny is an essential
worker! Therefore, with social distancing in mind, the bunny would
be permitted to visit the homes of local children and deliver their
annual Easter treats.
But, even before Easter, the sweet white bunny was busy pleasing
local folks, as she (note the bow on her ear) spent a couple hours
Saturday evening providing curbside delivery services for Top Hat
Creamery.
Top Hat is providing curbside pick up in the alleyway behind the
shop. They share the alley with Guzzardo's and on Saturday evening
there was a steady line of cars in the alley with about half
grabbing ice cream and half grabbing dinner, a few were doing both!
