Volunteer disaster responders with the American Red Cross of Central
Illinois continue to assist residents after a multi-unit apartment
fire early this morning in downtown Minier.
The American Red Cross is helping a total of 11 individuals with
health and disaster mental health services, financial support, and
information about recovery services.

You can take two easy steps to protect your home and loved ones from
a fire: get a smoke alarm and create a fire escape plan. Having a
working smoke alarm cuts the risk of dying in a home fire in half.
