This week the Lincoln Street Department was out making the streets safer for our Lincoln College Students. Crews added fresh white reflective stripes to designate the secure crossing areas on North Ottawa Street. The road runs through the college campus and foot traffic during the school year is quite substantial. To add to the continuity between the two sides of the street workers also used the Lynx stencil to apply white paw prints that match the purple prints on the sidewalks.

The Lincoln Street Department refreshed the paint on the crosswalk in front of the Meyer Evans Student Center at Lincoln College.

Reflective beads are mixed with the fresh paint.

The crosswalk comes complete with the Lincoln College paw print logo from their mascot, the Lynx.

New Lynx paw prints complete the job.

Gleaming new paint at the start of the semester increases safety for those crossing the street.
