Obituary
David L. Zimmer, 80, of Lincoln
passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 in his home
surrounded by his loving family.
David was born on April 28, 1940 in Lincoln the son
of Wesley William and Agnes Lydia (Miller) Zimmer.
He married Jayne Blanford, and they were happily
married for 55 years, she survives in Lincoln.
David is also survived by his children, Wendy (Ben)
Sapp and Rick (Gail) Zimmer; his grandchildren,
Hayden and Alyssa Zimmer; and his siblings, Maxine
(Richard) Lolling, Bill (Janet) Zimmer, Judy
(Robert) Taylor, and Carol (Joe) Egli.
David was preceded in death by his
parents. |
David was a farmer, mechanic, and a
Polio survivor.
A private family service will be held at a later
date.
Memorial donations may be made in David’s name to
Lincoln Christian Church, Lincoln or Safe Haven
Hospice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
