Shoppers still encouraged to shop small in Mount Pulaski

The Mount Pulaski Winter Wonderland Festival, scheduled for December 5th has been canceled. The public is still invited to the community.

Salt Creek Attic will still have a special open house 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are inviting the public to donate food items or cash for the food pantry. You will be able to purchase florals and theme trees made by Kathy Jones, sewn purses, towels, scarfs, and table runners made by Dorothy Mason, carvings and wooden items by the late Larry Wilham and Selma Wilham.

Also you may purchase quilted angels and themed trees made by Karen Ballard,; sewn items, theme trees and painted items by Jo Richner.

Phyllis Beccue will offer florals and small antiques. Bobbi Taylor has furniture available as well as several other venders. Gift certificates are available as are gift bags that may be custom made and delivered in Mount Pulaski.

While you are in town, order food from The Brickyard, Pizza Man, The Lucky Lauger or Farmer Family Restaurant. Each location also has gift certificates available.

Be sure to check out the gift ideas at Johnson True Value Hardware where you can also purchase lighting needs. Gifts certificates are also available.

Be sure to take your children to Dollar General and allow them the experience of purchasing a gift for a needy child.

Market on the Hill would have great gift certificates for anyone on your gift list and don't forget to pick up gas cards or lottery tickets from the two gas stations in town.
