On
Monday, November 16, Liberty Power Representative Stan Komperda
presented a check for $25,000 to Logan County Board Chairman Emily
Davenport and board member Cameron Halpin. Another $25,000 will soon
be coming from Alconquin Power via transfer.
The two wind farm companies' donations must be used for work done at
Latham and Scully Parks. It will help cover the installation costs
of the new playground equipment at Latham Park, the Scully Park
fountain and tree trimming and removal at the parks.
