Lincoln Daily News welcomes letters of appreciation, information and opinion on matters pertaining to the community. 
 
Controversial issues:
As a community we need to be able to talk openly about matters that affect the quality of our lives. The most effective and least offensive manner to get your point across is to stick to the issue and refrain from commenting on another person's opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

New playground equipment appreciated at Latham Park

To the editor:

Thank you, Angela Reiners for the article about nice playground at Latham Park. I had driven by there several times and wondered about “the Source” of funding for the updates.

It is nice to have a playground in the center of town. Hopefully, it will be enjoyed and respected by all. I sometimes take my grandchildren to the library in the summer or on days off of school (before the COVID 19 shut down). It will be nice to have such a wonderful playground close by to enjoy on the outing with Oma.
