Each day, someone in Logan County needs help locating and connecting with essential community services. Logan County now has two new resources that can help residents find the help they need. These new resources are Logancounty
resources.org and United Way 2-1-1.

Funded in part by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery through a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Services Administration, www.Logancounty
resources.org  is an interactive online website that serves as a resource directory for residents of Logan County. The website is a self-service tool that can connect Logan County residents to health and community resources in the area.

In addition, The United Way of Logan County has now partnered with PATH 2-1-1 in Bloomington, Illinois to provide United Way 2-1-1 service to Logan County residents. PATH has been providing this service since 1971, and we join a long list of communities In Illinois that have their services available.

United Way 2-1-1 is an easy to remember telephone number that connects people with important community services, such as:

• Basic Human Needs: such as food, shelter, rent and utility assistance

[to top of second column]

• Physical and Mental Health Resources: such as health insurance programs, Medicaid and Medicare, medical information lines, crisis intervention services

• Employment Supports: such as job training, transportation assistance, education programs

• Support for Older Americans and Persons with Disabilities: such as adult day care, respite care, home health care, independent living programs

• Support for Children, Youth and Families: such as afterschool programs, family resource centers, mentoring, tutoring, protective services

To access United Way 2-1-1, Logan County residents either call 2-1-1 or search a list of resources by category at https://www.pathcrisis.org/community-resources/2-1-1/ after searching by their zip code.

Callers will be routed to the services that meet their needs, providing an easy way for Logan County residents to find answers when they need help through these resources. Find out more about
2-1-1 at www.uwlogancountyil.org
