Christmas gift items are available by appointment at the Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society, 114 N. Chicago St., Lincoln.

Items available include a pillow featuring the Logan County Courthouse, copies of the Lincoln Evening Courier 1953 Centennial Edition, the 1982 Logan County History, books authored by Paul Beaver and Paul Gleason,
the Spanish Influenza Epidemic, & Days Gone By, the Logan County One Room School book.

Among other items are a framed Abraham Lincoln bust silhouette, Abraham Lincoln place mats, Heritage of Lincoln, IL board game, golden Christmas ornaments of local historical significance, and collectible plates of local businesses, churches, towns, and groups.

Pulaski, 150th and 125 Anniversaries and Cemetery Book; and Mason City, 125th Anniversary book.

Copies of the Prairie Farmer Reliable Directory of Breeders & Farmers for Logan County, 1917; and the 1860 census are available.

The following plates are for sale: Sheer's Auto Supply, Logan County Courthouse, Abraham Lincoln Centennial; Logan County Fair, 50th Anniversary; Zion Lutheran Church; Mt. Pulaski Siltennial, two sizes; First United Methodist Church; Easton Centennial; Emden Centennial; St. Peter's Lutheran Church; Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital; and the Mt. Pulaski Methodist Church.



Assorted high school and college yearbooks, dating from 1914, are available as are Lincoln City directories dating from 1979. Several cookbooks are on the sale listing.

Tickets for the raffle of an Abraham Lincoln Christening Lincoln afghan are also being offered.

Appointments to view or purchase these items may be made by calling 732-3200 and leaving a message. The Society remains closed, and is open only by appointment for purchases, membership renewals, research, or donations due to the Corona virus pandemic.
