Sharon E. Gordon, 74, of Lincoln, passed away in the loving arms of
her family at St. Clara's Rehab and Senior Care Center on Monday,
February 3, 2020. |

Obituary
Sharon E. Gordon, 74, of Lincoln,
passed away in the loving arms of her family at St.
Clara's Rehab and Senior Care Center on Monday,
February 3, 2020.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Clara's Rehab
and Senior Care Chapel on Thursday, February 6,
2020, at 1:00 p.m. Mr. Ernie Harvey will officiate.
Sharon E. Haberland was born on October 3, 1945, in
Lincoln, the daughter of Harold and Ruby Davison
Haberland. She was united marriage with Ira W.
"Butch" Gordon in 1986. He passed away January 26,
2018.
She is survived by one son: Ricky
Shull of Lincoln; one daughter: Lori (Mike Cook)
Shull of Lincoln; two sisters: Judy Gordon of
Arkansas and Kathy Beccue of Lincoln; one brother:
Harold Haberland, Jr. of Lincoln; two grandchildren:
Barbara Shull and Shaun (Crystal) Cook; and nine
great-grandchildren. |
She was preceded in death by her
parents, and one son: Jimmy Shull.
Sharon retired from the Illinois Department of
Natural Resources after 27 years of service.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's
Research Hospital.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
