presents new enrichment classes

Heartland Community College Lincoln is adding courses in February
and March for anyone who wishes to add to their up professional
development or professional enrichment.
Continuing Education classes offered in February include:
• Getting to Know Google Suite - February 10
• Advanced Google Suite - February 24
Google Certified Trainer Jennifer Keith presents both of these
single-session classes that cover Google Drive, Docs, Sheets,
Calendar and more. These courses can provide Continuing Professional
Development Units (CPDU) for teachers.
• Mastering Your Energy – beginning February 25 (3 sessions)
This personal enrichment course taught by Laura Elliott covers
Qigong, Tai Chi and vocal toning practices that promote well-being.

Continuing Education classes in March include:
• Communicating Effectively - March 27
This Essential Workplace Skills workshop is a half-day course that sharpens
communication skills. Employees and supervisors learn what to get right in
managing in-person, written and digital interactions to prevent conflict and
promote productivity.
• Creating a Social Media Strategy for Your Business - March 30
This single-session class covers which social media platforms, such as Facebook
and Twitter, align best with marketing goals and how to create purposeful social
media content for businesses.
