Hartsburg-Emden Seventh Grade Boys head to Class 1A State with 48-38 win over Peoria St. Vincent de Paul

[February 07, 2020]    The Hartsburg-Emden Stags defeated Peoria St. Vincent de Paul on Thursday night in Peoria to win 48-38 in the Sectional 3 Championship.

Drew Hayes poured in 25 points to lead the Stags in scoring.

Cage Crumpler had 14 points for Hartem.

Hartem (23-4) will play Pana Sacred Heart (23-0) at 1 p.m. on Saturday in the IESA Seventh Grade Class 1A State Tournament at East Peoria Central Junior High School.
