Lincoln Junior High School boys win 40-30 over Athens for Regional Championship
 

[February 07, 2020]    The Lincoln Junior High Trojans knocked off the defending Class 3A state champions, the Athens Warriors, in the Class 8-3A Regional 11 held Thursday night in Athens.

The Trojans took down the champions by a final score of 40-30.

Aidan Gowin led the Trojans with 20 points.

LJHS record is 19-6.

The Regional 12 Championship between Auburn and Camp Point Central will be played tomorrow at 11 a.m.

The Trojans will play the winner of the Regional 12 on Wednesday, February 12th at 6:30 p.m at Auburn Junior High School in Divernon.
