West Lincoln Broadwell playing for Seventh Grade State Championship

The West Lincoln Broadwell Wolverines defeated previously unbeaten Griggsville-Perry 49-42 on Saturday afternoon at the 2020 Seventh Grade Class 1A State Tournament in East Peoria.

Jude Toft poured in 33 points for the Wolverines in the win. Brady Miller scored 14 points for WLB. Blake Horn rounded out the scoring with a field goal for WLB.

In the evening session, the Wolverines won in overtime 51-44 over Pana Sacred Heart.

Jude Toft led the way with 24 points for WLB.

Brady Miller tossed in 17 points for the Wolverines.

Blake Horn finished with 6 points for WLB.

Bryce Vlahovich hit a three for the Wolverines and Brayden Hagerman completed the scoring with a free throw.

West Lincoln Broadwell (28-1) will play Royal Prairieview Ogden (22-4) on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. for the state championship at East Peoria Junior High School.
