[February 13, 2020]    Heartland Community College Vice President of Enrollment and Student Services Sarah Diel-Hunt has been honored by the national Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Dr. Diel-Hunt is one of only 26 college administrators recognized with a 2020 Distinguished College Administrator Award.

The Distinguished College Administrator Awards are presented by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) to college vice presidents, deans, or directors serving at post-secondary institutions who have shown strong support of student success on their campus by recognizing academic achievement, leadership, and service among high-achieving students.

Recipients are nominated for the award by the students on their campus.

As V.P. of Enrollment and Student Support Services, Diel-Hunt directs enrollment service functions such as admissions, financial aid, testing and records as well as athletic and fitness operations, international student support, counseling, secondary education partnerships and student access.

“It is gratifying to see Sarah Diel-Hunt recognized by an organization such as Phi Theta Kappa,” said Heartland President Keith Cornille. “This honor reflects Sarah’s passion and commitment to Heartland students.
