The Hilltoppers had little trouble in this
contest, storming out to an 18-5 first quarter lead. By halftime
Mount Pulaski maintained a 24-12 lead.
Seven different Hilltoppers scored in the third quarter and the
lead grew to 42-25. Mount Pulaski marched to the 58-35 win
easily.
Grant Davis led Mount Pulaski in the win with 24 points. Brandon
Kretzinger tossed in 13 points for the Hilltoppers.
Shelbyville Junior Kade Kull led the Rams with 16 points. Kull
also joined the 1,000 point club.
Mount Pulaski improves to 17-10 on the season with the final
regular season game coming on Friday.
Mount Pulaski will play at Illini Bluffs on Friday night. The JV
will tip-off at 6 p.m. The Varsity is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
