[February 26, 2020]  Judge William G. Workman has earned the designation of “recommended” by the recent Judicial Advisory Poll conducted by the Illinois State Bar Association for Judicial Duties.

The poll is administered to all Illinois State Bar Association members in the circuit from which a judicial candidate seeks election. Licensed attorneys who are not members of ISBA, or any attorney outside the circuit or district may also request a ballot. Candidates are rated “recommended” or “not recommended” based on whether respondents agree that the candidate meets the requirements for the judicial office they seek.

Judge Workman received a 96% rating in the category of Integrity. In the Temperament category he received 93% and 96% for Court Management abilities, among other categories.

“I am honored to receive this level of praise from my peers - the attorneys who practice in Illinois Courts – who understand the qualities an effective, impartial judge should possess.
