The mascot of one of baseball’s most iconic teams will be posing for
pictures, signing autographs, and eating with fans at American
Legion Post 263’s breakfast buffet On January 12th.
Fredbird debuted as the mascot of the St. Louis Cardinals in 1979.
The 6’3” mascot is known for his dancing, practical jokes, and
sending t-shirts into the stands during Cardinals home games at
Busch Stadium. The iconic mascot is also known to beak fans’ heads;
that is, tilting his head down and putting their heads in his mouth.
It’s all in good fun, of course!
Fredbird will be at American Legion Post 263’s breakfast buffet in
Lincoln on Sunday, January 12, 2020, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. It’s a
$10 admission to the breakfast for all fans (except grade school
children); meeting Fredbird is included with admission. All proceeds
