The Lincoln Junior High Trojans wrestling team
competed in the first Annual Dawson 8 team dual tournament on
January 3rd and finished with a second place team trophy losing
in the finals to Washington by the score of 61-44.
Early in the day the Trojans defeated Beardstown 90-18, Olympia
60-36 and Ill-Buff 81-21 to move the season record to 10-2. The
top four teams were Washington, Lincoln, Morris and then
Olympia.
It was a great turn out and some very good matches all day.
Next up for the Trojans is the Jacksonville tournament on
January 11, in Jacksonville.
