NOTICE TO THE ELDERLY AND PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
REGARDING THE MARCH 17, 2020 GENERAL PRIMARY ELECTION

Citizens who cannot leave their home or nursing home because of permanent disability and are not registered to vote, may arrange for voter registration by contacting the Office of the Logan County Clerk. Upon request, assistance can be obtained through the Clerk or deputy registrar.

Any qualified resident may register to vote at the Office of the Logan County Clerk located in Room 20 of the Logan County Courthouse, Lincoln, Illinois, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Two forms of identification are required to register; one must display your current address. Any resident with an Illinois Driver’s License can also register to vote or update their address online through the State of Illinois OVA (ova.elections.il.gov). The last day to register to vote for the General Primary Election is February 18, 2020. Beginning Wednesday February 19, 2020 Grace Period Registration will be available solely at the Office of the County Clerk.

Vote by Mail is available for all registered voters and may be obtained either on the County Clerk’s website: www.logan countyil.gov  under Election Information or through a request in person, by mail, email, or telephone at the Office of the County Clerk.  The last day an Application to Vote by mail may be received by mail, and the last day a Vote by Mail Ballot may be sent from the Office of the County Clerk is Thursday, March 12, 2020. Early Voting will be held in the Office of the County Clerk beginning February 6, 2020 and conclude on Monday, March 16, 2020 from the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays.
