Mount Pulaski takes third place Seventh Grade County Conference Tournament

[January 18, 2020]    Mount Pulaski's Luke Martin scored the winning basket on a bank shot in the lane as time expired against the Chester-East Lincoln Panthers Thursday night in the third place game of the 2020 Seventh Grade County Conference Tournament held at Lincoln College.

The Bruins trailed 20-18 at the end of the third quarter and tied the game 26-26 down the stretch. Martin's bucket just before the fourth quarter buzzer sounded allowed the Bruins to escape with a 28-26 win over the Panthers.

Eric Cooper lead Mount Pulaski with 11 points. Luke Martin finished with 8 points for the Bruins.
