COUNTRY Financial Representative Michelle Bauer is pleased to
announce the Logan County D.A.R.E program as a 2020 recipient of a
COUNTRY Financial Operation Helping Heroes donation. Bauer presented
the donation for $750 to Corporal Trent Park to assist with the
purchase of books, supplies and other educational materials to be
used in Logan County schools.
D.A.R.E programs are designed to empower students to respect others
and lead lives free from violence, substance abuse and other
dangerous behaviors. “As a mother of 2 young girls, I think it is
critical that they continue to hear this message outside of our
house as well,” said Bauer.
COUNTRY Financial tripled its initial pledge to its Operation
Helping Heroes program in April and will now donate more than $3
million in 2020 to organizations and programs that support first
responders and active duty service members, supporting the company’s
vision to “enrich lives in the communities we serve.”

The Operation Helping Heroes program was created in 2015 to support non-profit
events and programs that benefit active duty service members, veterans and their
families. In 2019, COUNTRY Financial expanded the program and donated $700,000
to approximately 500 first responder and military organizations.
