[July 03, 2020]  LINCOLN - Mark D. "Kaz" Kazakaitis, 43, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at his home.

Visitation: Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home

Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home

Obituary

Mark D. "Kaz" Kazakaitis, 43, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln with Rev. Fulgens officiating. CDC Guidelines must be observed.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.

Mark David Kazakaitis was born on July 7, 1976, in Lincoln, the son of Stanley John and Deborah Sue Lolling Kazakaitis.

He is survived by his mother and stepdad: Debbie (Tony) Meyer; his sister: Kristi Kazakaitis Cater; one nephew and godson: Jamison Carter; beloved Aunt Shari (Don) Boyd, Uncle Mike Lolling, David Lolling, and cousins Daron Whittaker, sabra (Dagan) Brucker, Tonya Adams, Mollie Murphy, Zachary, Jeannie and Hannah Lolling; and his dogs Callie and Whitney, who were his constant companions.

Funeral Director

Mark was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents: Robert and Jean Lolling; paternal grandparents: Stanley A. and Anne Kazakaitis; and two aunts: Janice Kazakaitis and Toni Whittaker.

Mark graduated from Lincoln Community High School. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
He was an avid New England Patriot fan and a Chicago Cubs fan.

Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Logan County.

Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
