Shelter Insurance Agent, Corey Leonard, recently presented $1,000 to
Bill Dolan and Rachel Oney of the Lincoln Salvation Army. The funds
are intended to support COVID-19 relief efforts in the Logan County
area. The Shelter Foundation allocated $1.5 million dollars to help
with crisis relief in the communities Shelter serves.
Rachel Oney, manager of the Salvation Army Keest center located at
307 N. Kickapoo St., Lincoln, stated that the funds are much needed.
The funds will go towards increasing the amount of food and hygiene
goods that are given out to serve even more families in need
throughout Logan County. Bill Dolan will happily make appointments
by phone to assist those in need.
