Midwest Technical Institute (MTI)’s Springfield, Illinois campus
location is now open following safety and social distancing
practices. Students enrolled for the July 6th, 2020 start date will
receive one hundred percent of their education on campus, with the
exception of the Basic Nursing Assistant (BNA) and Phlebotomy
Course. Current BNA students will continue their training with a
blended online and/or on campus schedule. Enrollment for future BNA
and Phlebotomy Courses on campus will resume at a later date.
“We are so excited to welcome back students who are ready to begin
their hands-on training at MTI. We worked diligently to coordinate
the delivery of education online during COVID-19 and are now ready
to have students back on campus to receive their hands-on training
in the classroom and lab. As always, we will follow CDC guidelines
to help protect the health and safety of students and staff,” Shelia
Wilson, Campus President.
All staff and students must adhere to safety guidelines on campus,
including only entering and exiting the building through designated
doors, frequently washing hands with soap and water, using the hand
sanitizer and hands-free trash cans readily available throughout the
campus, wearing a face covering while at the campus, as well as any
required personal protective equipment during lab training, and
adhering to social distancing.
