 Titan
Hello, my name is Titan. I am a five-year old male,
and I am a silver retriever mix. You probably recognize me, because
I’ve been at HSLC for over two years now. I am a big guy, and
sometimes people think I am intimidating. I need to be the only
animal in the home and I would do best in a home with no children,
or older children. I take a little while to warm up to new people,
but once I get to know you, I am really sweet.
I need a family that has the time, energy, and patience to train me
and show me how to be a dog outside of a shelter. My adopter needs
to be strong and willing to give me a chance. Before I got to HSLC
in 2018, I was at a kill shelter in Kentucky.
 So
you see, I've been in a shelter most of my life, and it might take
me some time to adjust to living in a home.
I am house-trained, but since I've been at HSLC for so long, I will
need a refresher when I get to my new home. I am neutered,
microchipped and up to date with my vaccinations.
