Peoria Surgical Group Affiliates with Springfield Clinic

[July 30, 2020]  Springfield Clinic is happy to announce a new affiliation in Peoria, Ill., with Peoria Surgical Group, Ltd (PSG), a well-established, locally owned and operated surgical practice.

“Peoria Surgical Group has been caring for their community for decades. They have dedicated themselves to creating genuine relationships with their patients, which has led to great results and a quality experience for everyone involved,” says Cal Thomas, Springfield Clinic's vice- president of business development and marketing. “That approach aligns directly with Springfield Clinic's core principals and makes this affiliation a natural fit. For more than 60 years, PSG has fulfilled its mission to provide safe, high-quality, patient- focused care and educate future surgeons and physicians in the Peoria area. The group is comprised of 11 surgeons and four advanced practitioners who provide procedures in the colon and rectal, general surgery, breast surgery, plastic surgery, surgical oncology, surgical weight loss and thoracic surgery specialties. They also offer minimally invasive surgery and procedures for hernia treatment, LINX reflux management and Mediport® insertion.
