Ruthie Ruhl---RR Equestrian Jumps & Training

Hello, My name Ruthie Ruhl, and I am a Homeschooled Junior from the Mt. Pulaski School District. I have been horse-crazy my entire life, and I am an active member of 4-H. Outside of school, I am involved in Horse Bowl, Hippology, Horse Judging, teaching riding lessons, and training 2-3 horses at Lori Nelson Training. I have started several Summer businesses, but I hope to start a business building horse jumps through the CEO class that I will be able to grow, and build on in the next 5 years. I hope that this wonderful program will teach me the business skills I need to reach my goal of competing in the 2024 Olympics. I would like to thank the board members and businesses of Logan County for making this incredible opportunity possible.

RR Equestrian Jumps & Training

Ruthie Ruhl is a homeschooled junior, registered at Mt. Pulaski High School. She has been invested in 4-H programs, horse riding/showing, and selling produce in the Mt. Pulaski food cooperative. She first got into horses at 18 months old and started riding 12 years ago. She has been riding with Lori Nelson for the last 8 years and started training and giving lessons about a year ago. This provided the perfect opportunity to start her career in the horse world through CEO. Her goal is to compete in the 2024 Paris, France Olympics, riding for the United States on the Show Jumping team. CEO has given her the tools to start a business building horse jumps, giving lessons, and training horses. She is excited to grow RR Equestrian Jumps and Training in the coming months and years.

Annagrace Keller---Repurposed Designs by Anna

My name is Annagrace Keller. I am currently a junior at Lincoln Community High School. Throughout my High School experience this far, I have participated in soccer, band, theater, and church choir.

[to top of second column]

I also work at El Mazatlan in Lincoln. Between my school and work schedule, I love spending time with my friends and my dog. I never really thought about business as a career until I was introduced to this class. I thought it looked like an awesome opportunity, so I went for it! I am excited to improve my collaborative and social skills in this class. I am super thankful for being given this opportunity and I wish all of my peers the best of luck!

Repurposed designs by Anna

Annagrace Keller is a junior at LCHS and her business is Repurposed Designs by Anna. This business is upcycling home decor. She has bought old items and small furniture, and ‘repurposed’ them in a trendier fashion. The pieces have been redone so they can be used as new again! She decided to do this because she has always been an artsy person and loves to be creative. These kind of projects always seemed super cool to her, so being able to use this class to ignite that passion has been a great opportunity for her.

Eli Hewitt---Nothing Fancy

My name is Elijah Hewitt. I am a junior at Lincoln Community High School and when I graduate I want to go to ISU to get my undergraduate degree in political science, and then go to law school. I am very active in the music and theatre programs at Lincoln Community High School and I love being on stage. I’ve always been very interested in entrepreneurship. I hope that the CEO class will further my understanding as to how the business world works and help me start my career. I owned my own business, Nothing Fancy Cheesecakes, out of my own home and I love baking. I recently started working at Cracker Barrel here in town. My hope for the future is that I will someday be successful enough to give back to this community because it’s where I grew up, and am still growing up in.
