[June 19, 2020]    Although the Humane Society of Logan County (HSLC) shelter remains closed to the public, the mission continues. The Pet-Food Pantry is open each Wednesday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Residents experiencing lay-offs due to COVID-19 closings, and any other Logan County resident needing assistance may use this program.

Anyone interested in adopting an animal can call (217) 737-4042 to schedule an appointment to visit the current residents of the shelter.

An army of dedicated HSLC volunteers faithfully keep the animals safe and well cared for during this time.
