locating family heirloom

I have decided to make one final pitch to try to retrieve a family
heirloom, which I foolishly left leaning against a trash barrel
stand in the parking lot at CVS over 3 months ago.
The "lost" object is a diamond willow cane given to me long ago by a
cherished family member.
It is my hope that this post plus notes to other local media may
help.
If you notice, even a stranger, using this cane I ask you to
politely ask them where they got such an unusual object.

Tell them this story with this added info - I am very happy to
"buy" my cane back for $100 plus dinner for two at any LOGAN
COUNTY RESTAURANT.
Now that I am actively using a cane, I would really like to have
this cane "come home".
I sincerely appreciate your reading this- tis, indeed, a loooong
shot, but strange things do happen.
