J.T. Guzzardo named 2020 LTEC Student of the Year

 

[June 30, 2020] 

J.T. Guzzardo, son of Nick & Shelly Guzzardo, has been named Student of the Year for the Lincolnland Technical Education Center (LTEC) for FY20. Over the course of this year, J.T. has shown outstanding enthusiasm, skill, and leadership in LTEC’s Culinary Arts Program.

J.T.’s mastery in the kitchen truly impressed his instructor, Ms. Brenda Silano, with his willingness to volunteer and tackle any recipe. Overall, J.T. is an exceptional example of a student demonstrating the dedication to preparing for a successful career.

J.T. is very active in High School and participates in Chess Club, Leaf Club, Library Club, Wrestling, and Football.

J.T.’s future plans are to continue his education by majoring in Culinary Arts at El Centro College in Dallas, TX and then work in the culinary field.

J.T. received a $1000 scholarship from the Lincoln Rotary Club in Lincoln.
