On Friday afternoon, Logan County Sheriff Mark Landers and Resident Circuit Judge Jonathan Wright issued a statement saying that the Logan County Courthouse will remain open for essential services as well as courtroom activities for the time being.

Wright noted, "The elected and appointed officials of Logan County in conjunction with the Logan County Health Department are monitoring the situation involving coronavirus. We will evaluate and update our policies and procedures accordingly."

Some activities, such as school tours, will be prohibited.

A message from Sheriff Landers concerning court:

Traffic court for Monday, March 16th, 2020 has been continued to a later date. We apologize for the short notice, however, with the evolving situation involving the COVID-19 virus, public health officials are discouraging large gatherings of people, especially indoors. You will be notified by mail of the new court date. Please ensure the Logan County Circuit Clerk’s Office has your most current address. Any questions regarding future court dates involving traffic court should be directed to the Circuit Clerk’s Office at 217-735-2376.

All other court cases scheduled for Monday, March 16th, 2020 will proceed as scheduled. Additionally, all other Logan County Courthouse services will remain available at this time. Please check back frequently to the Logan County website or to this page for updates. We will do our best to keep you updated with the latest developments regarding court services. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

 

NOTICE

The First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln
will be cancelling church services for
Sunday March 15, 22 and 29.

Pastor Adam Quine will be working to provide live stream worship this Sunday at 10 a.m.
