[March 11, 2020]  Adding to the endorsement of former Logan County Sheriff Steve Nichols, Judge Jonathan Wright announced today that Logan County Sheriff Mark Landers is endorsing Judge Wright for Resident Circuit Judge in the 2020 election.

“I have known Judge Wright for over 20 years starting when he was City Attorney and I was a police officer for the City of Atlanta, then as Logan County State’s Attorney, and now as Resident Circuit Judge. His vast legal knowledge coupled with an unerring ethical compass and his capacity for compassion and empathy make him well suited for the position of Circuit Judge,” said Sheriff Landers.

“I have the privilege of working with Judge Wright in his current position as Logan County Resident Circuit Judge. He has shown leadership to maintain continuity of services for the court system as we work through the issues with the dome and the 3rd floor courtroom of the Courthouse,” continued Sheriff Landers.

“I am also excited about Judge Wright’s work to bring videoconferencing to Logan County. This will increase court efficiency and greatly increase court security,” added Sheriff Landers.
