To the editor:

I want to go on record as endorsing Kelly Elias as the next Logan County Circuit Clerk.

My position has given me the ability to work with all 102 Circuit Clerks in Illinois and in my years of support for the office I have seen many things. One thing that I am absolutely positive of is that Kelly would be the perfect replacement for Mary Kelley serving the citizens of Logan County.

Kelly has worked effectively in the Circuit Clerk’s office for almost ten years. She brings excellent credentials to this position and a lot of experience which is necessary for this role. Since joining the Logan County office, she has been working under current Circuit Clerk Mary Kelley’s direction who is also endorsing her as the most qualified replacement to take over the office.

[to top of second column]

The Circuit Clerk’s office requires accurate court records, overseeing the court clerk’s duties as well as many other things. Kelly understands the importance of keeping good records and dealing congenially with the public. She is honest, reliable and willing to work long hours needed for the position. I believe that Kelly Elias is the person best qualified to be the Logan County Circuit Clerk.
