The chapter’s officers planned a wide variety of
activities for students to participate in throughout the week,
ranging from dress up days to team relays.
Throughout the week the dress up days included American day, Red
(Case IH) or Green (John Deere) day, on the farm day, goin’ huntin’
day, and FFA day. Three classes with the most students who dressed
up throughout the week won an ice cream party for their class. Along
with the ice cream party, the class with the most students who
participated won Pinky’s (ice cream) coupons!

			 Brooke & Bailey
Rogers, Josie Litwiller, and Cody Sellberg drove tractors to school
			for FFA Week.

During lunch time, students were able to participate
in games such as giant tic-tac-toe and take turns judging livestock
classes. There was also a truck judging contest on Tuesday, a FFA
member and staff breakfast on Thursday, and drive your tractor to
			school day on Friday.

			 Isabelle Forrest and Camdyn Lawson
prepare eggs for the FFA/Staff breakfast.

The breakfast on Thursday was made to show
appreciation to the Olympia staff and FFA members for their
			year-round support and participation.

FFA advisor, Bryce Hoffman, and the Olympia officer

The Hog Calling Champion was Logan
			Wheeler.

During the assembly there was a pig-calling contest,
multiple relays and competitions, and a group of students were
selected to kiss a pig! Logan Wheeler, a junior at Olympia, won the
pig-calling contest. When asked about the Friday assembly, senior
Alyssa Casey stated, “My favorite thing we did was the pig-calling
contest. It was a good assembly to end my senior FFA week!” A big
thank you to our supporters in the community, Pinky’s in Tremont,
Olympia High School staff, teachers, and all the students who
			participated in the week’s activities!
