The Habitat For Humanity of Logan County (HFHLC) has turned over the
keys to their HFHLC Center, 909 Woodlawn Road in Lincoln to the new
owners.
On June 30, 2010 the Regions Bank manager, Donna Boyd handed the
keys to their satellite building on Woodlawn Road in Lincoln to
Habitat For Humanity of Logan County then president, Tonita
Reifsteck. During those ten years it has been the activity center
for committee and board meetings, budgeting and applicant screening
and training and even a dog wash site with Logan Co. Humane Society.
On March 5th, 2020, Bill Sahs, President of HFHLC and Tonita
Reifsteck, secretary signed the papers and passed the keys to the
new owners: Xiao Pan, Xia Xia Wu and Cody Zhao. Possession changed
hands at that moment also.
In anticipation of this transfer a group of Lincoln Christian
University students: Brienna Fetty, Morgan Hampton, Dalton Byers,
Alexis Jones, Cora Jean, Brandon Wiatt, Hongchuan Fu, Shengkai Fan
volunteered to help with moving materials out of the former bank
building into the HFH warehouse next door.
Cub Scouts from troop 111 Ben Hurley, Comaeron Wilmert with leaders
David Wilmert and Jim Wilmert also helped.
They were joined by faithful HFHLC support workers Tom Frost, Ron
Marsh, George Marsh, Lloyd Moore, Bill Sahs, Joe Funk, Bob
Chamberlain, K.K. Fikri and Daren Franklin.
