On Sunday, March 8th, Atlanta Ag had their monthly meeting. We welcomed guest speaker, Carissa Davis from the Logan County Extension Office. She gave an interesting presentation on conductive energy and open/closed circuits. She showed us a software called Makey Makey which allows you to connect everyday objects to electrical circuits demonstrating how they respond through closed circuits. We were able to play music with bananas by using our body as part of the circuit. It was a super fun way to learn about electricity and open and closed circuits.

Next, one of our own members, Rose Catterson, gave a demonstration on Geocaching and showed us how to make our very own geocaches. It was a great opportunity for the club to learn about geocaching and Rose gave the demonstration as preparation for her public speaking and geocaching 4-H projects.
