In conjunction with the National Toys for Tots Foundation, local Toys for Tots has made arrangements to donate 250 books to the New Holland-Middletown School District. The majority of the books will be offered free to NH-M students. The balance will go into the school's library to replace some of their older editions.

On Tuesday, Donna Gaydosh (left) visited Rachel Stapleton at the school to see all the great books that kids will be able to choose from when they come to clean out their classrooms and lockers.

Something to do while staying at home:

Time to take a nature walk. Kickapoo Creek Park is open for hiking when observing social distancing. Read the article - print the scavenger hunt sheet and go for a walk. If you don't want to go to the park, you can also find most of these items in our city and county parks and maybe even in your own back yard!
