Just in time for Memorial Day the Lincoln Rotary Club has put up 24
new Hometown Hero Military banners in Lincoln. The banners can all
be found around the Logan County Courthouse Square.
According to club member Kirby Rodgers, the banners are in addition
to what was already there. Other banners have been relocated around
the downtown area.
Rodgers noted some of the original banners have been or will be
replaced due to weather damage. He noted that the company that
produces the banners is making those replacements free of charge.
For those who would like to take a walk around the square this
weekend, Rodgers provided the names and locations of the new
banners. LDN also took a walk around the square and has a slideshow
of all the new banners.
