[May 27, 2020]

The 2019 payable 2020 tax bills for Logan County should be in the mail on Friday, May 29th, 2020. The 2019 payable 2020 tax due dates will be July 1, 2020 and September 1, 2020. Please watch for your mailing with the “tax bill enclosed” stamp on the envelope. In the event, you do not receive your tax bill in the next couple of weeks, please contact our office either by phone or email and we will be happy to email your tax bill.

Due to loss of income and other hardships felt by our Logan County citizens due to the COVID 19 pandemic the Logan County Board approved a Resolution to waive late fees and penalties, (excluding escrow payments) as long as, taxes are paid in full by the September 1, 2020 due date. To read the resolution, please go to our website at logancountyil.gov.

For taxpayers who feel it would be beneficial for you to have future tax bills emailed, you will find instructions on how to enroll enclosed with your bill.

Remember to check out the back of your bill for convenient and updated payment options. Due to the restrictions of COVID 19 we are encouraging citizens to pay by mail or drop box when possible. Our John Logan building drop off this year will be a drive thru location only. Printing of tax bills will not be available and there will be no inside payments accepted. To use this option you will have to have your tax stub and payment.

For questions regarding current tax updates, enrolling to have your bill emailed, or questions, please give us a call. You can call our office or view my website at logancountyil.gov/treasurer/.
