[May 27, 2020]  MOUNT PULASKI - Patricia S. Peterson, “Patty Cakes”, “Aunt Pat”, 72, of Mount Pulaski passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 in her home, in Mount Pulaski.

Visitation:  4:00-7:00 pm on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln. (CDC protocol and social distancing required).

Service:  A private family graveside service will take place at a later date

Obituary

Patricia S. Peterson, “Patty Cakes”, “Aunt Pat”, 72, of Mount Pulaski passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 in her home, in Mount Pulaski.

Patricia was born on July 27, 1947 in West Union, the daughter of Robert and Frances (Lopez) Murphy. She married James Quisenberry; she later married Dennis Peterson on March 2, 2005 in Las Vegas NV. He survives her in Mount Pulaski.

Patricia is also survived by her children, Bobby (Lisa) Quisenberry of Chestnut, and Michelle Renee Quisenberry of Connersville, IN; her grandchildren, Josh, Derrick, Brandon, and Justin Quisenberry; her siblings, Jimmy (Connie) Murphy of Walnut Hill, Toni Murphy McLean of Hamburg, AR, Bobi (Wayne) Frye of Lincoln, Florence Murphy Stramm of Center Point, IN; and her seven great-grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Stacy Lynn; her brother, Ross; her sister, Jessie Murphy Reeves; her infant brother; and one great-granddaughter.

Patricia retired as a supervisor from Precision Products in Lincoln, and was most recently a cook at Mount Pulaski High School where she also served as a bus monitor. She was a member of The Fraternal Order of The Eagles, American Legion Auxiliary Post #263, and she highly supported The United Riders Motorcycle Club.

A private family graveside service will take place at a later date. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00pm on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln, IL. (where CDC protocol and social distancing will be followed).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Patricia’s name to Mount Pulaski Christian Church, Special Olympics of Logan County, or the Shriners.
