Steve
Aughenbaugh of the State Bank of Lincoln recently presented a check
for $15,000 to the Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois.
The money is earmarked to be used next year to fund work projects
for the "Workcamp for Lincoln." The project will utilize youth
volunteers through the National Group Mission Trips to do needed
home repairs for families who are not financially able on their own.
CAPCIL is partnering with the group and the Lincoln Chrisitan Church
to bring the program to Lincoln in July, 2021.
The funds donated by the State Bank of Lincoln are a part of the
Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago Targeted Impact Fund for persons
impacted by Covid-19.
