[November 18, 2020]   At the October Logan County Tourism Bureau board meeting, members voted against having the Christmas Parade in downtown Lincoln this year, due to COVID-19 restrictions.

They felt that the large crowds that form while watching, and partaking in, the parade is not in guidelines with the CDC. However, to encourage Christmas spirit, the downtown businesses are still welcoming patrons for alternative, COVID safe, Christmas festivities with the Christmas Express and Winter Wonderland Trees.

The Christmas Express Event includes:

  • Small Business Saturday
    November. 28th

  • Downtown Business Ticket Contest
    November 28th – December. 12th

  • Gingerbread House Contest
    The Depot (Tourism Office)
    November 28th – December 12th

  • Santa and Mrs. Claus Strolling the Shops
    December 5th
    9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

  • Carriage Rides on Friday Evenings
    6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
