Friday night dinner at American Legion moves to drive-thru only

[November 18, 2020]  Due to recent changes regarding indoor dining the American Legion chicken fried steak dinner on Friday November 6th will be a drive through dinner only.

Patrons may drive through and pick up their delicious steak dinner from their auto.

The dinner will consist of chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a roll for $9.00.

Hours for serving are 5 p.m. until 7  p.m.

The American Legion Military Funeral Rites Unit is sponsoring the dinner., with proceeds going to uniform and maintaining equipment.

The military Rites unit consists of eighteen Legion members who pay final respects to around 40 deceased veterans each year.

Any man or women who has worn the uniform of our nation is eligible for this last rite. The unit also furnishes a color guard for flag presentations and parades locally each year.
