The Mount Pulaski Public Works
Department in an effort to maintain all sewer systems proper
operation, we ask that the disposal of any of the many different
types of disinfecting wipes that are in high demand, due to the
Covid 19 virus, be disposed of via garbage and NOT FLUSHED DOWN
YOUR TOILETS.

 Although some packaging states they are sewer
safe, these products do NOT BREAK DOWN the same as toilet
paper. And more times than not, restrict residential sewer lines as
well as City sewer lines and pump stations.
