[October 01, 2020]  The Atlanta Ag 4H club met on Sunday, September 20th at the Union Hall in downtown Atlanta. Meeting started at 3:00 pm.

This is a new 4H year for Atlanta Ag and the club has new 4H leadership.
John and Anna Catterson will be the 4H leaders for the club with Coverbud leaders, Jessica Wibben and Casey Glandon.

We had over ten new families join us for our first meeting of the year and couldn't be more excited!

The club is looking forward to installing new officers at the October meeting.
In new business, the club approved conducting a wreath and fir tree fundraiser for the holidays. The club also approved to attend Gails Pumpkin Path October 11th for a club tour, each member will pay $5 to take the tour.

The program for the month consisted for a demonstration talk by Rose Catterson where she explained how to make Fall Smore Chex Mix and it was delicious!

Cloverbuds took part in their own activities where they learned about 4H and different leadership positions.

In addition, the club is seeking donations for toiletries for the community. These donations include soaps, shampoos, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other toiletries. We will be collecting these items the entire month of October.

Our next meeting is scheduled for October 20th at 3:00 at the Union Hall in downtown Atlanta. Officers will be installed at the next meeting and holiday planning is on the agenda.

[Respectfully Submitted by Rose Catterson, Secretary]
