Lincoln College students and staff, city of Lincoln government, Lincoln Police Department and Logan County Sheriff's Department are working together to build positive relationships in the community.

Last Wednesday a group met for lunch, a time of learning and exploring the topics that separate the students from the community and how to address those topics with a productive and positive approach.

Today, Lincoln Daily News launches its annual Paint the Paper Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. Since 2017, LDN has featured daily pictures during the month of October of our local businesses and organizations wearing their pink shirts in a show of love and support for the breast cancer warriors and survivors in Logan County.

The campaign kicks off this year with a photo from Erv and Cindy Guyett at Collision Concepts. Cindy, along with LDN's Roy Logan (center), brought the idea of the pink shirt campaign to Lincoln Daily News. Cindy has been part of a support team for two of her friends during their battles.
