[October 13, 2020]    Brooks Koepka will return to the PGA Tour this week outside of the top 10 in the official world golf rankings for the first time in three years.

The former No. 1-ranked player and four-time major champion has missed eight weeks while recovering from a lingering knee injury. Koepka, who ended each of the past two years atop the world rankings, now sits at No. 11 entering this week's CJ Cup @ Shadow Creek in Las Vegas.

With his victory at the BMW PGA Championship on the European Tour on Sunday, England's Tyrrell Hatton rose five spots to enter the top 10 for the first time in his career. He's the 10th English player to reach the top 10.

Dustin Johnson remains No. 1, followed by Spain's Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau. DeChambeau leapfrogged Collin Morikawa with his T8 at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas on Sunday, where Morikawa missed the cut.

Webb Simpson remained No. 7, followed by Xander Schauffele, Patrick Reed and Hatton. Matthew Wolff finished second for the third time this year on Sunday at TPC Summerlin, but still rose six spots to a career-high 12th.

Tiger Woods, who will make his first start next week since missing the cut at the U.S. Open, dropped another two spots to No. 26.

Scotland's Martin Laird was by far the biggest mover in this week's rankings, rising 263 spots to No. 88 with his playoff win at TPC Summerlin.
