[October 13, 2020]

Health is an important part of 4-H. After all, an entire H is devoted to it. Just like exercise and nutrition are a part of good health, mental health plays an important role in our daily living.

What does mental health really mean? How many people are affected by mental health issues such as anxiety and depression? Be part of the solution by learning the answers to these questions and more. In this free, 6-part online series put on by the University of Illinois Extension, youth participants will learn about mental health, why it is important to your overall well-being, and steps that promote understanding and action.

If you are 13-18, register online for the series at go.illinois.edu/Your
ThoughtsMatter by Friday, October 23.

This state-wide program will be facilitated/moderated by local/multi county 4-H Staff. Participants do not need to belong to 4-H in order to log into weekly Zoom calls on November 10, 17, 24 and December 1, 8 and 15 from 4 to 5 PM Central Time.
