community from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 31st.
Police Chief Anthony West has issued the following cautions for
children and parents.
"I would like to remind everyone to use caution while crossing
streets and look both ways.
"Bring a working flashlight and have reflective clothing / bags to
be seen.
"Walk on sidewalks or along the edge of the road facing traffic.
"Examine all treats for choking hazards and / or tampering.

"Only eat factory wrapped treats and do not eat homemade treats
unless you know who prepared them.
"Have a trusted adult with you and enjoy your time out."
Chief West also reminds children that they should only call on homes
where the porch light is turned on. Lights on means that trick
or treaters are welcomed!
